A Swedish Flat That Reflects the Change of Season

This apartment at Humlegarden in Stockholm, Sweden, was transformed by architects Tham & Videgard Hansson. Floors and walls are parqueted in colors to reflect the spectrum of seasonal color change exhibited in the garden outside. The architects transformed the turn-of-the-century art nouveau flat into a crazy quilt of modulated color, offset by stark white furnishings. I can’t imagine being sad in the crazy herringbone decor straight from the Crayola 64 box with built-in sharpener.
