Bringing the Art, One Post At A Time

At The Intersection of Math and Art

Bathsheba Grossman is a studied mathematician who also happens to love art. How does this pan out? In highly geometric sculpture rendered in metal or glass. He sells his work from his web site, Bathsheba Sculpture. Taken from his site:

I’m an artist exploring the region between art and mathematics, and this is my gallery and storefront.  My work is about life in three dimensions: working with symmetry and balance, getting from a zero point to infinity, and always finding beauty in geometry.

Seems Mr. Grossman has a firm handle on both sides of his brain.
